An AI you can actually talk to — that forgets you on purpose
tadoy's Ask is a quiet, reflective chat for the decisions and the hard weeks. It knows your qualities from your birth details and reads what today is asking — yet stores nothing on a server and remembers only the conversation you're in. Coherent inside the thread, blank between them. That's the design.
What Ask is
Open a conversation about whatever's on your mind — moving house, a hard call, a question you don't know how to answer yet. Ask responds like a perceptive friend who happens to know you well: a few quiet sentences, observational, not a horoscope column and not therapy-speak. It's there when you want it and invisible when you don't — no daily nudge to "check in", no streak.
It knows your qualities — without naming them
If you've added your birth details, Ask computes the full picture behind the scenes: your natal chart, your human design, your numerology, your gene keys. It uses all of that for resonance — it shapes what Ask notices and the register it speaks in — but it never quotes the machinery. You won't get "your Pisces moon"; you'll get "the part of you that absorbs the room before it speaks." The chart stays under the floor; only the human language comes up. Ask only names a technical term if you explicitly ask it to.
Birth details are optional. With none on file, Ask doesn't guess or pester you for them — it just answers as the thoughtful friend it is. Plain wisdom is the whole job when the chart has nothing to add.
It reads the day, not just the question
Every reply also carries today — the moon's phase, where the year is, the day's sky — translated the same way, into weather rather than jargon: "today is a tender day", "this stretch favours revising over deciding", "the week's edges are sharper than usual". The same question asked on two different days can land differently, because the day is part of what Ask is listening to.
Memory that's yours, not ours
Inside a conversation, Ask holds the whole thread. It doesn't lose the plot halfway through or ask you the same thing twice — the coherence stays where you're talking.
Between conversations, it remembers nothing. There's no cross-conversation profile, no rolling "what we know about you" summary, no pattern detection quietly running across your threads. And nothing you say is stored on a server: the Ask endpoint writes no record and never logs your words — only the message in the moment leaves the device to generate that one reply, and it's not retained or used to train any model. Your conversations live only on your phone. Each one stands on its own. That's the design, not a limitation — the forgetting is the privacy.
How Ask compares
- vs a general AI chatbot — a blank assistant doesn't know your chart, your design or what today holds, and most build a long-term profile of you to get better. tadoy's Ask is the opposite trade: it knows you in the moment and keeps none of it.
- vs reflection apps that build a profile of you — some journaling AIs improve by remembering you across months and, in places, by training on what you write. tadoy chose ephemeral on purpose: the depth comes from your chart and the day, not from a dossier.
- vs no AI at all — the rest of the daily page works without it, and Ask is opt-in. It's here for the moments a blank page isn't enough, not as the centre of the app.
Privacy
Ask conversations live on your device — not synced to tadoy's servers, not used to train any model. The same on-device posture as journal, mood, body and habits. Full detail on the privacy page.

Common questions about Ask
- Does it remember me between conversations?
- No, by design. It holds the whole thread you're in, then keeps nothing across conversations — no profile, no cross-thread summary.
- Is anything stored on a server?
- No. Nothing is written or logged server-side; only the message in the moment leaves the device to generate a reply, and it's never used to train a model. Conversations live only on your phone.
- How does it know things about me?
- From your birth details (chart, design, numerology, gene keys) and today's sky — used for resonance, never named unless you ask. Optional; it works with no birth data.
- Does it work offline?
- No — Ask replies are generated server-side, so it needs a connection. The rest of the daily page works offline.
